Thank you for this FANTASTIC page, and it's being available for public view so I could find it and finally prove to a friend that "it's not just me, we were ALL like that on the eastside back then!"). Though I was an Interlake (Bellevue) grad (please, don't hold that against me), I have a lot of fond (and some fuzzy) memories of Kirkland friends and experiences. It was a nice break to reminisce here, and see some old photos, too. Plus, the humor here changed my whole outlook for the day, maybe the week, heck, you may have saved my very life (okay, maybe that last part is the chocolate chip cookie I just had in place of lunch talking, but you did lift my spirits, too). You and your crew ROCK (70's style)! PS- Can I please come to your next reunion?! You all sound wayyy more fun than, well other reunions (don't wanna get kicked out of my own class, your not printing this, right?). ... I'd lay claim to knowing some of you, at least partying together, but to claim memory of being there would prove that one wasn't. Best wishes to all my fellow fogies and Eastside neighbors at LWHS. Keep up the good work here, and out in the "real" world! /m  PS- Having made contact with your Jim Neir since originally sending this note first to him, I am now convinced of the class of your class (and I say that with the haze of our era long past). What a lucky group you are!

I stumbled on your web site while looking for info on my class of 1979. What a great site! Wish we had a similar one for our graduating class. Even after 32 years I remember a lot of you like it was yesterday and have a lot of fond memories of LWHS in the 70's.

What a fantastic weekend!  Good times with good friends - it doesn't get much better than that. It was really great that we could all take a little time to be together again and celebrate our years at Lake Washington High School.  Now that some time has passed since the reunion, I've had an opportunity to flip through a few pictures, and I realize how many people i missed talking too.  And, for those I did see, it was not nearly long enough to have a meaningful conversation.  At the 35th, I promise to have something meaningful to say.

What I would give to have Lynne Johnson's (Latendresse) memory!    I couldn't remember anything.  Matter-of-fact I was beginning to wonder if I even went to Lake Washington at all.  Oh, Lynne & Lina Monegan (Estes),  I am so sorry I didn't remember the Fondu Party we had Sophomore year.  But, I am POSITIVE I had a GREAT time.  With you two as company, that would have been a given.

A couple "Shout-Outs".  One, to Megan Martin (Higdon) for being the best sister I never had.  I can still visualize your  "look" and  the "sigh" of concern in your voice each time you told me,  "You're making a big mistake...".  and, like the idiot-savant brother, I would go ahead and do it anyway.   At least I always felt you really cared.   And Rocky Monte, my brother Paul says he wants back that box of stuff he gave you on his way off to college (I am sure Rocky would be happy to explain this at the 35th if you ask him, LOL).  Rocky, we had so many fun times it's hard to keep track.  Pete Livengood, I forgot to tell you,  I've never missed a Paul McCartney concert in Seattle since you and I went to see him at the Kingdome in '77.  And, Jim Dolan, "U da bomb".  I believe, when I say this, on behalf of all male classmates with wives in attendance, thanks for getting them to dance .... without us.

I could go on and on about everyone, but you know who you are.  We belong to a truly amazing group of people, whom all turned out pretty darn nice, and so good looking!  Now, I remember why I always felt intimidated, insignificant and always looked up to you all with admiration.  I'm short.   My only solace was standing next to Annette Lang (English), which failed to make me feel "prettier", cuz she looked so young, but at 5'2" (plus heals), at least I felt tall.  Thanks for the illusion!     Until the 35th, Cheers!

It was a pleasure to see so many that we shared so much of our early years with. It's true time is relative and we've all made it 30-years farther down the road of life. A few turns along the way but each one of us is better for the experiance. To be in a room with so many that we know is uncommon indead.

I look forward to our future, and feel free to write.

What a fun night! I enjoyed seeing everyone and catching up. I even met people I didn't know in High School! I agree, the evening went too fast.
Congrats to the committee - you really put on a great party. Count me in for help on the next one,

What a hoot.  We grew up to be such a great bunch.

First of all I just gotta say, the night was too short.  Yet, talking to everyone if only for a minute brings it all back and has a carryover effect of breaking out with some ideas for the future as well.

Secondly, next time, next time I'm definitely going to do those dances.  Jim you do us proud.

And last but not least -- that food was delicious!

Love Yas
Eileen
