My family moved to Grand Junction, Colorado in 1977 much to my dismay. After a brief return to the east side (Bellevue) in 1978, we moved to Boise in 1979. I am an Attorney for the Ada County Highway District. I have been married for 25 years and have a daughter age 24. She lives in the Tacoma area so we try to make it up to the Seattle area often. My wife (Laure) and I are excited about attending the reunion.

City: Graham State/Prov.: WA Occupation: U.S. Army Chief Warrant
Officer-CW4 Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 4 College: AAI-mechanic Degree: 15 credits short of my B. A....almost done!! From Duane: I love Nancy very, very much and we've carved our little slice of Heaven on Earth out here in Graham. Nancy found our house while I was deployed to Iraq and buying a house while deployed was interesting, to say the least. Stephanie is 4 (5 in October) was born 7 days after I got on the plane to Iraq (6 weeks premature) and I didn't get to see her until she was over 8 months old. Nancy sent pictures and I had the occasional web cam but it just wasn't the real thing. Stephanie is busy with preschool, ballet, tap and tumbling and keeping us hopping. She will either keep us young or make us very, very old...fast. If I could only bottle and sell her energy I wouldn't have to work. Stephanie will be attending Kindergarten later this fall, she really is a very bright little girl. Natalie (15) is a wonderful big Sissy. She is in 9th grade this year with an eye on High School. She has the gift of music; she plays the clarinet, saxophone and keyboards. She performs with the Cougar Mountain Junior High School Jazz Band, Concert Band and Wind Ensemble. She also has a beautiful voice and performs with the school's Concert Choir. She is interested in forensics so we'll see where this takes her. Dereck is 24 now and an Infantryman with the Washington National Guard 81st Infantry Brigade. He is cuurently serving his second tour in Iraq. When he is not soldiering he is a student at CWU in Ellensburg. I am extremely proud of him; he truly is a remarkable young man. My daughter Amy is 29 (the big 3-0 in May) and currently attending school to become a Pharmacy Technician. I am proud to report she is pulling a 4.0!! Nancy works out of our home as a transcriptionist and cuts hair and sells candles and keeps the home together so I can go out and play Army. We had trained for another tour in Iraq but situations change and almost at the last minute the President ordered us to Afghanistan. I'd be lying if I said I didn't see it coming. Training for our deployment is complete, now we are preparing the vehicles and equipment for shipment overseas - this is where the Army get's it's money's worth out of us Logisticians. I am a Maintenance Officer in my second Stryker Brigade at Fort Lewis. I am in charge of all maintenance and maintenance-related issues for an Infantry Battalion. In other words, I am responsible for 76 Strykers, each worth $2M - $3M, depending on the variant, 30 HUMVEEs, 12 5-Ton Cargo Trucks, Trailers, Generators, Weapons, Chemical Equipment, Communications Equipment and I do this with a team of 25, including me. Oh, and I am responsible for them too. Yes, I'm busy. But with this job comes opportunity; I am blessed to have some of America's best Sons and Daughters by my side during this time of war and I have the pleasure of teaching, coaching and mentoring these fine young citizen/soldiers. My two minutes of soap box: Let us not forget we are still a Nation at war; remain vigilant. Display your patriotism proudly; for all our faults this is still the best Nation in the world. Support and pray for your troops!!
