(Thanks for the message and gentle nudge Laurie!)

I met my husband at WWU after he offered to carry my cello to rehearsal. We've been married for 24 years and have proved that classical and jazz musicians can live in harmony.

Our daughter Tara is a senior at Willamette University and our son Drew just graduated from Woodinville High and is attending University of Portland. We are now "empty nesters" and trying to figure out the next stage of life.

I teach beginning orchestra in the Northshore School District to over 80 students a week. I also have a few private students. That cello has been pretty good to me.

Our favorite place is Cannon Beach and we escape there whenever possible. (we think that's why our kids chose schools in Oregon)

I'm looking forward to seeing eveyone!

Comment: I've lived in the Belltown area of Seattle for almost nine years now, and love it!  (Once I became an empty-nester, defined by when my youngest moved her bed out, I ditched the "burbs" for city life.)  Located between Seattle Center and the waterfront, there is so much within walking distance, and Uber is my friend when I don't feel like walking.

My daughters will be 32 and 29 at the time of our reunion.  Sarah graduated from UW with a degree in Finance & Marketing.  She went on to get her CPA, and currently works as senior accounting manager at one of our major cell phone providers.  She and her husband have a one-year-old son which, of course, makes me a grandmother!  Rachel graduated from Western, also with a degree in Finance & Marketing.  She went the marketing route, and currently works as sales operations manager at a manufacturing company.  Both are local, which makes me a happy mama!

I look forward to seeing you all in September!

I've enjoyed getting to know you all again thru your pictures! Figured it was time to add my family!
Jessie (29) works for the family business. Mandy (22) graduated from The Walter Cronkite School at ASU. Melissa (18) is a freshman in the Pre-nursing school at U of A. I'm trying to adjust from being a stay at home mom, too an empty nester! A work in progress...

From swimming with the dolphins in the Mediterranean Sea, to rock climbing ancient cliffs in the French Alps, I have absolutely never done any of that.  But what I have done is much more impressive:  A great family, friends, and career.  In fact, not to brag, but through my profession I have sold more cars than Nelson Mandela and Mahatma Gandhi ever did during their entire lifetimes!! Does that make me more accomplished than those two? In one very specific way, yes!

So many, many things to be thankful for. Yet, the most precious things in life are usually not “things”. I’m proud that both of my kids graduated from college and turned out to be “good people”. Katrina (Gonzaga) now an Elementary Teacher; and Christopher (Eastern), is a Digital Media Specialist. I’m glad I was able to play soccer for decades with two of brothers, Tom and Paul. Only hanging up the cleats at age 56 after my front teeth got knocked out for a third time. Happy that I met Cathy, my BFF of 37 years. But most of all, I am grateful that I went to high school before Facebook, Find My Phone, and the NSA.

Cheers to our 40th! I look forward to seeing everyone again in September!

Occupation: Complex Operations Manager/Investment Banking
Comment: My husband, Dale, and I live in Marysville, WA with our two children.  We've been married for 28 very awesome years.  He's the best!  Our life is pretty boring.  Work, kids, homework, sports, ya know?  30 years has just flown by..way to fast.  I am so excited to see everyone.  Ran into Greg Stubbs the other day.  He asked about the reunion.  I gave him the website address.  Hopefully, he and his wife Pam will come.  They live in Monroe, so it's not to far!

Dale is a roof truss specialist with BMC West in Everett.  I am the Complex Operations Manager for RBC Wealth Management in downtown Seattle.

Our oldest son, Jake, is 17, and will be a senior this year at Marysville Pilchuck High School.  He is currently studying to become a firefighter, and volunteers as an apprentice with the Lake Stevens Fire District.  In addition, he is a member of the varsity crew team with Everett Rowing Association.  He's traveled to regattas all over the Pacific Northwest and Canada.

Our daughter, Jessica, is 14, and will be a freshman this year at Marysville Pilchuck High School.  She is taking 2nd year Spanish and advanced Math this year.  She wants to study either sports medicine, forensics/criminology or (as of last week) join the FBI (?).  She plans to attend either Oklahoma State or University of Arizona.  (that's cool...we can root for the Okies or Wildcats!)  She currently plays on a traveling softball team, Snohomish County Express-14U, and are the 2008 ASA and NSA Washington State Champions, and 2008 Western National Champions.

Comment: HI all,  I retired in 2016 after 24 years with UPS, and went back to my "old" career as a 911 dispatcher (this time)  at the University of Washington.     I remarried in 2014 and we share 6 adult kids, and 5 grandchildren, the last 3 are all girls, local and under 2 years old.

I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone!     For those that think I might look familar but aren't sure,   I worked in the snack bar much of my LW time, and  Sold y'all plenty of Hostess and milkshakes!!

Comment: I have been married for 28 years and a California Girl for the same amount of time. We live on Catalina Island and life is great! Our oldest son is a UW graduate and now serving in Afganistan. Our second daughter is in management with the local utility company. Our third daughter graduates high school this June and off to college. Almost an empty nester with one high schooler left to go. Hope I can make the reunion!
